Prayer is essential, for without the blessing of God these efforts are bound to fail.  While individuals and congregations may pray for their own mission thrusts and no doubt pray generally for mission work in the church and around the world, there is no organized effort to appeal to the Lord of the church for the critical work now going on in New England.

The Mission Department has created an e-mail based prayer chain within the new England District of dedicated men, women and children who have committed to daily prayer for the missionaries, pastors, congregations and mission work taking place in and through the New England District.
